NavParkash S. Sandhu, M.D.

Dr. Sandhu did his Master in surgery from Panjab University in 1985 and practiced surgery in India and Saudi Arabia. After migrating to USA he   trained as an anesthesiologist at New York University and joined faculty at  NYU. He developed several techniques of ultrasound guided peripheral nerve blocks and vascular access. He has lectured and taught ultrasound techniques at national and international meetings. He has given workshops on above topics in UK, New Zealand, Ireland, Germany, Norway, Iceland,  India and USA. He has been exhibiting these techniques at ASA, IARS, PGA, ASRA, ESRA and Scandinavian Society of anesthesia, world Congress of regional anesthesia. He has written many research articles, book chapter and edited a book “Perioperative Ultrasound”.  He joined as faculty at  UCSD in department of anesthesia in 2006.
